So far no backlight bleed or clouding to be seen unless I turn up the brightness to uncomfortable levels (above 50%).ĭespite the good image quality, the CFG70 is not a perfect monitor and has a lot of quirks that come with it: At normal brightness settings I have a hard time telling the difference between an all black screen and the monitor turned off. ![]() The effect of the VA panel + quantum dot backlight is very noticeable in movies or games with bright colors (like Fornite) or games with a dark theme (Diablo 3). ![]() Once you tweak the brightness and color settings further the image quality really stands out. The second thing you will notice is colors look very rich, blacks are very deep, and the image looks like it came from an HDTV. ![]() The OSD menu and joystick control is also easy to use.įirst thing you will notice is the curved screen but after 1-2 days you will get used to it and the curve blends in naturally. No dead pixels or defects (yet) and the arm-type mount still feels solid and tight. ![]() So far build quality looks to be very good. If you will use the monitor for all-around entertainment like playing games, watching movies, browsing etc I think you will be satisfied.
